The Rare Campaign
This booklet outlined Rare’s five-year comprehensive campaign and was to be used as a fundamental piece for fundraising.
The main design challenge was that it had a lot of content, so it needed to be visually appealing in order to carry the readers through the entire piece while also visually differentiating Rare from other conservation organizations. The target audience also included older individuals, so all the text needed to be easily readable.
I decided to design a large square format as a physical differentiator. I incorporated a lot of large, people-focused imagery that crossed the gutter, and took advantage of large and engaging typography.
I also worked with a local printer to ensure I used all environmentally friendly, sustainable paper.
